Ericka Thompson is the Assistant Director of Allied Health Programs in the Office for Academic & Pre-Professional Advising (OAPA) at UMBC. She is a proud alum of UMBC, graduating with her BA in English. She earned her Master’s in Adult and Continuing Education with a focus in Supervision and Administration from Coppin State University. In addition to overseeing all aspects of Allied Health advising, Ericka advises undeclared students and serves as the advisor for the Pre-Physician Assistant Society. She truly enjoys helping students identify their strengths and their path to graduation. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She also enjoys traveling, skiing, exercising and eating crabs with her friends and family.
