Terisa White

Terisa White is the Executive Administrative Assistant for the Office for Academic & Pre-Professional Advising and Registrar’s Office at UMBC. Terisa joined the UMBC community in 2013 as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. She secured her current role as Executive Administrative Assistant in 2016. Before coming to UMBC, she served as a Science Paraeducator at Catonsville High School, a Sales Associate at the “Stitching Post” in Catonsville, and an Administrative Assistant at Washington University in St. Louis. Terisa holds an A.A.S. in Business from Mott Community College and an A.A.S. in Word Processing from Baker Junior College. Terisa loves being a part of the campus community and gets involved in as many activities on campus as she can. She currently serves on the board of Retriever Essentials as a case manager for the Save-A-Swipe program, serves on the Employee of the Quarter Committee, and is the Coordinator for the Cristo Rey Jesuit High School internship program. Terisa was just honored by receiving the 2021 Presidential Distinguished Staff Award for Non-Exempt Staff. She enjoys exploring and learning about Maryland when she is not working since she is originally from Michigan.
