  • How can you serve as a resource to fellow students? As a Peer Advisor I can offer guidance and clarification to my peers in their academic journey by using my past experiences. I can serve as an approachable and supportive point of contact to ensure students have a smooth transition/journey at UMBC.

  • How can you serve as a resource to fellow students? I want to help students succeed and find the right path, just like I’ve worked to do for myself. As a third-year college student who has changed my major, I’ve learned a lot about navigating classes and overcoming challenges. I want to share what I’ve learned, so other students can avoid some of the struggles I faced. My goal is to help students make the best choices for themselves and feel confident about their academic journey.

  • How can you serve as a resource to fellow students? As a peer advisor, I’m here to guide and assist students as they need. I will direct them to the appropriate resources, answer any questions they may have. I want to make sure students feel supported and encouraged.

  • How can you serve as a resource to fellow students? As a peer advisor, I hope to guide fellow students onto the right track. As a transfer student who wishes they had someone to talk to, I also hope to support not only transfers but anyone who reaches out to our office for help.
